历经三年多的沉淀积累、两个多月的前期筹备，近日，周浦监狱首届服刑人员文化节暨第十七届“习美”书画展隆重举行。

本次“习美”书画展中，共收到服刑人员作品250多件，包括油画、水粉画、国画、书法、团扇及古船模型工艺作品。经过精心挑选，共装裱展出180多幅，作品题材丰富，具有一定的艺术水准与欣赏价值。

嘉宾赵元宏从专业的角度进行点评，他鼓励服刑人员珍惜难得的机会，静下心来，好好学习，修身养性，通过书画练习让自己能够拥有一项生存的本领，未来更好地融入社会。

服刑人员陈某表示自己虽然只有小学文化，但通过几年的学习，掌握了油画的技法，现已达到了油画初级水平。他自言，通过这几年油画的学习，心比以前静了，脾气也温和了许多，浮躁的心灵在画笔一笔笔的挥动下得到了净化和熏陶。

本次监狱文化节，设置了优胜奖、鼓励奖、优秀教员、组织奖四个奖项，共有25人次获得奖励。
上海市周浦监狱致力于通过艺术矫治，帮助服刑人员在一笔一划间启发他们对真善美的追求，提高改造积极性，助力在服刑期间重塑新生。
